ST MARY’S SCHOOL

St. Mary’s School, Najibabad, an institution of minority status, was started in July 1973 and is run by the Education Society of the Diocese of Bijnor. It is recognized by the U.P state and is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. It is a matter of great pride that our school has completed 50 years of its inception. Currently there are 2550 students on roll and 79 teachers rendering their services. Besides, we rejoice in our dedicated and rich human resource of 13 non – teaching staff. The school is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community. It aims at forming “New Persons” who foster universal and eternal values by careful cultivation of mind, heart and body, and thus making the students fully alive to bring about a ‘Just Human Society’.

St. Mary’s School holds fast to the principle that a human being is a positive asset and a precious national resource which needs to be cherished, nurtured and developed with tenderness and care, coupled with dynamism. The school strives to mould the students to be intellectually competent, morally sound, psychologically integrated and imbued with a sense of the Divine, committed to the cause of justice and peace and even open to further growth. The school longs to create a human society, free from prejudices, superstitions and discrimination based on sex, religion, caste and economic status. It is characterized by respect for the dignity of human person leading to have concern for each other, especially the under privileged.
